Brazil to North America Migrations - Early or Late?
// published

This year, more than in recent years it seems, many landlords are reporting their bird arrivals as being much later than in previous years.  Yet, there seems to be an equal amount of those commenting that their birds are earlier this year, some by as much as two to three weeks.

Many have also posed their remarks in the form of a question.  For that reason, we would like to remind our viewers that The Purple Martin Society, NA keeps a fairly detailed set of statistical information.  Included in that array of data, 10 Years' Arrivals Comparison by Date, City and State.  To see how arrival times in your area are stacking up compared to previous years, just Click Here and select your state.

Other valuable tracking information including Maps, Arrival Data and Charts is also available if you Follow This Link.

For those viewers who may be new to birding or having special interest in learning more about the travels of the Purple Martin, our Travelogue gives a graphical/Data overview of the migration routes -- Brazil to North America.

We hope you will follow any or all of these links.
